The educational programme aulaDcine offers school centers materials, resources and strategies for working multiple literacies, such as linguistic communication, media literacy, and social and cultural interaction with the environment, enhancing learning through and about film in Europe.
aulaDcine facilitates the comprehension and interpretation of audiovisual messages to school population with special needs or in risk of social exclusion, offering the possibility to choose from different languages, subtitles, or audio descriptions for hearing or visually- impaired children.
aulaDcine gives children and young students tools to develop critical thinking and analysis, improving linguistic competences in both their native and foreign languages.
Besides it helps to increase young audiences’ knowledge and interest in European audiovisual works by means of a wide range of educational activities.
A programme highlight is the training of teachers, especially in film analysis and short movie’s and screenplay development.
Program development and results: aulaDcine started in 2013 in the frame of Malaga Film Festival. 2. Film literacy activities for school children and young students including film projections, temporary exhibitions, cineforums…
3. Training activities for teachers
