Creative Europe Desk Ukraine and Ukrainian Cultural Foundation will organise the International Fair for Cultural Grants for the fourth time, which will take place in a hybrid format this year. On May 25, everyone will be able to join the event online to learn about opportunities to raise funds for their creative projects, and a limited number of visitors will be able to participate in an offline one-day intensive workshop to prepare grant applications for European programmes.

Creative Europe, the EU's largest programme for the support of the cultural and creative industries, has become the most effective tool for the development of artists in the first seven years of its existence. More than 11,000 supported projects have joined the list of the best ideas on the continent. In Ukraine, grants from the programme have already been received by Kyiv International Film Festival Molodist and Odesa International Film Festival, Masterskaya music label, IZOLYATSIA. Platform for Cultural Initiatives, Handicraft Chamber of Ukraine, NGO Internews Ukraine, Ivan Honchar Museum, and many others.

On May 25 Creative Europe Desk Ukraine will share the results of the first 7 years of the program and its activities at the Fourth International Fair for Cultural Grants. At the same time, during the event, everyone will be able to learn about open grant opportunities in Ukraine. Special attention deserves the discussion on the prospects for synergies between the largest European grant programmes: Horizon Europe (formerly Horizon 2020), Erasmus+, and Creative Europe, and, of course, how Ukrainian artists can use their opportunities for sustainable work at the international level.

Also, a limited number of visitors will be invited to an offline one-day intensive workshop in Kyiv to learn the basics on how to prepare grant applications for European programmes. Visitors will learn what kind of team and skills organizations need to implement projects supported by European programmes, the legal aspects of work, how to build international partnerships, to test own ideas, and to develop the budgets for the projects. The intensive workshop will be conducted by Mykola Smolinsky, President of the Central European Academy Studies and Certification (CEASC), a business coach with 15+ years of experience, an expert in receiving grant funding from European Union, Norwegian and Visegrad funds. Participation in intensive workshop will be offered to a limited number of visitors based on their motivation.

Registration for the Fourth International Fair for Cultural Grants is free by the following link

All participants will receive a link to access the online event the day before the start. If your application for the offline intensive is approved, the details will be sent to your e-mail no later than May 17.
