Aims and activities of the organisation 

Gerador, founded in 2014, is an independent Portuguese 

platform dedicated to journalism, culture, and education. Our core belief revolves around the significance of education, artistic creation, and critical thinking in nurturing a more active, informed, and creative citizenship. Our mission is to equip our audience with the tools needed to foster a critical and participatory society. Through our work in journalism, culture, and education, we aim to dismantle barriers and broaden access to information, culture, and education for all. Our primary areas of focus include addressing challenges faced by youth, sustainability, democracy, inequality, discrimination, and the struggles of low-populated regions in Portugal.

Role of the organisation in the project

We are looking for new collaboration opportunities in the 

cultural and cross-sectoral(media) areas. We are open to 

discuss these opportunities with partners who are looking for organizations to integrate their projects proposals and believe Gerador could be a potential match.
