Short description
https://www.actionzoohumain.be/nl
Action Zoo Humain explores the extent to which theatre can directly intervene in reality without losing sight of its poetic potential and self-
criticism. The organisation uses the historical concept of the 'zoo humain' as a (research) tool to question ethnic, religious, political and economic zones of conflict. The company puts multi-voicedness and representation at the forefront. Thus, they function as a bridge-
builder between artists/academics, artistic/social-artistic sector, new talent/experts and between individual artists and cultural houses. Action Zoo Humain believes that an (artistic) project is justified not only by its own content, but also by the network in which it is created.

The Artpole creates Art that connects. We create aesthetic & individual art experiences. With events, large-
scale installations, socio-artistic and participatory projects. Our art connects and builds bridges, between people, cultures, environments and the different subjects we work with and use as a creative base. Local people or a specific group of people are often included in our artworks, which makes them very personal. Some of them also have a participatory part, where people can literally create art together with us.

Description
We want to organize a travelling city festival driven by the urge to create awareness about the European Convention on Human Rights. Our project "Circle 18" aims to revitalize the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR)through art that touches,
inspires, and raises awareness about human rights.
Eighteen unique, mobile art installations creatively interpret the ECHR’s articles. These traveling pop-up locations appear in public spaces across (five) European countries, such as schools, squares,
and cultural centers, fostering a participatory and local
approach to human rights. The project promotes inclusivity and gender equality, offering a platform for artists, educators, and students. Cross-sectoral artistic interpretations will be developed
with local and international partners, addressing
regional contexts. Art, debate, lectures, and workshops are designed to engage local
communities, while digital collaboration between artists minimizes the ecological footprint. The project is structured for sustainability, continuing beyond the initial funding. Circle 18 contributes to the protection of the rule of law by making the ECHR accessible to all and acting asa platform for artistic expression and human rights education
